Hello Again

Hello Again,

I know I know… I always disappear… but the Summer was crazy here in Hungary. We always run around the country, as we had like 40C (~100F) during the days and nights too! But I always bring felt sheets, templates, scissors , threads and nails to everywhere, so I have made a lot of things!

I made a deal with myself: I would like to stak up some thinigs for this Christmas to be able to get orders on the whole year… and I want to update the pictures in my shop!

I’ll show you what I did, and how… so stay calmed! I PROMISE I’ll be back for now! 🙂

Busy days – please check my poll!

Hello Guys,

Sorry, I didn’t post that much nowadays, we had some busy days. In Hungary, we had seriously hot weather (40°C, it’s like 104°F), and it’s a bit hard with my son. He is not sleeping well, and of course he is always crying, complaining, and moaning. I am trying to entertain him as much as I can, but e.g. we are going to the playground every day, but around 10-11h, we have to come home because of the sunburn. … And he is still too small to have creative time with me.

So… what am I doing these days? Of course I am stitching my felt things, which will be uploaded to my shop soon. I am making my plans on paper, so I might will upload some templates for you as well, if you want to make exactly the same things. I am working on my swaps (just sent some flowers), and  am going to make a felt tic-tac-toe for someone as a gift. I have made my denim pillows (which were on my project list for this year), I will post some pictures about those soon. I have started my big bag too, where I can hold my felt fabrics, etc…

About wire jewelries, I simply did not touch them at all. I have bought a lot of stuff for them, and some of them are still flying home by post now, so I decided to not start with those until I have finished my work with felt. (Of course I never finish lol!)

I am working on my shop too, I have to redo some texts, upload some information, remake some pictures, and upload the new things. Hard work, and I am really hoping that it’s worth… I hope, you’ll like it. I would like to ask you to answer a question:

You can choose up to 5 answers. Please leave a comment if you have anything to say. 🙂

Aaand… of course I will try to post my pictures soon… .)

Home projects with a huge inspiration

Hello Guys,

Last time, when I’ve checked my project list, I realized that there are a lot of items, what I should work on already. One of these is my son’s room. Actually, I hate that room, and as we would like to move to a house soon, we don’t want to pay too much for renovation and furniture. The base shape of this room is silly (have like 8 corners) no windows, only at the top (our flat is a studio-apartement, so our main windows are at the ceiling). It’s a bit cold…

The first thing what I have to do, is to throw out a bookcase (to the anteroom, or just trash it, did not decided yet). Then I hope, we will trash soon our changing table as well, that can be put off from the other bookcase – that bookcase contains 4 plastic boxes with all of his toys. That has to be changed as well, my son always spilling his toys out. … Then, we have some space.

So, first of all, he needs a new bed. But… with the small spaces and silly corners, we cannot buy an ‘ikea’, or any other type of bed, and we don’t want to pay too much for it. So, here is the deal:

He will get 3 big pillows (same size, from jeans fabric ofc):

During the day, we can use them separately, but for the night, they will collapse to one longer bed (between the walls, then it cannot slip).

Then… I have to create some pillows – we have a lot of pillows already, but all of them are different sizes, different fabrics, different colors. Most of them are too old for a kid’s room. I have to renew then. There are a lot of ideas on Pinterest, here are some ideas:

… some letters will be created too:

… these were, which can be imagined in my son’s room. Let’s see some other inspiration for those, who want to create (or buy) something more… ehm … difficult? 🙂

… simply awesome! 🙂

Then I have to make some simple boxes, where he can put his toys:

… that’s all for today. If it wasn’t enough for you, tomorrow, I’ll put up some fantastic inspirational pictures, what can you do with your old – recycled – jeans! Let’s go, and sew something!
