I’ve made a book review some month ago, and the book is still here at my desk from then… Now, I decided to check it again, and create something based on those beautiful items. Now, here it is. My version of these have born:
That was the original. And now, mine:
… available at my shop. 🙂
I’ve got an old Stitch, Craft, Create magazine, and I’ve found some cool ideas there, what I might will try. The whole magazine is cool, the instructions are follow-able, and the pictures are simply awesome! I would order those issues, if the shipping fee are not these high .(
Some pictures (sorry, my camera was broken :() are here:
I promised to upload some pictures about my denim creations, but unfortunately you have to wait a bit. Mainly because I have made 2 pillows, then my free time just gone. We have hot (!) weather here, near to 40°C, which is high enough to my son to not sleep well… Hard days… and the summer just started.
In my last post, I shown my new jewelry holder. It’s gave me some luck: at the last weekend someone bought some hair-clips from me, and today, I sold 2 pendants too. How can I be more happier? Maybe with a good book! 🙂
So, here it is: this book was my No 1 on my Amazon wishlist, and finally I have got it from a friend!
Okay, maybe it’s not the best time to start crafting for Christmas, but who can say no to these cuties?:
I can’t! This book is a huge inspiration, I definitely waiting for this year’s Christmas! :-))
I’ve ordered some books from Amazon, and I wanted to share some really cool ideas what I’ve found there. My first review is about Fabric Leftovers: Simple, Adaptable Ways to Use Up Scraps from D’Arcy-Jean Milne.
“- Got scraps that are too good to throw away?” – A LOT!
“- Don’t know what to do with them?” – Hmm, can use some new ideas!
Of course I have a lot of scraps. Mainly from felt, but some years ago I have started to sew, and I kept all of the small scraps. I made patchwork pillows, them I kept the smaller pieces… so I have an awesome book to create some new stuff with them. Look at these ideas:
(sorry for the bad pictures, in the book these things looks awesome!)
Some of my favorite: recycled JEANS again!
The tutorials are easy to understand, and I can follow the steps. The pictures are good, and there are some drawings as well, so you can learn every small ideas. I really like this book, and I will make some items from here – will blog it! 🙂
