DIY ideas for recycled denim – for the strings …

Hello Guys,

I still have too much recycled denim, and as I never trash any fabric, I have a lot of small scraps and strings as well… So, here are an inspirational board for the strings!

– So, one of my favorite is the braid… you can use it as a hairband, or as a belt… it’s simply cool, and easy to make (http://www.instructables.com/id/Braiding-eight-cords-into-a-flat-braid/step16/Just-end-it-all/):

– If you can crochet, you have to make this lovely denim rug. 🙂 Tutorial here: http://juststringingalong.blogspot.nl/2011/06/denim-rug-take-2.html

Busy days – please check my poll!

Hello Guys,

Sorry, I didn’t post that much nowadays, we had some busy days. In Hungary, we had seriously hot weather (40°C, it’s like 104°F), and it’s a bit hard with my son. He is not sleeping well, and of course he is always crying, complaining, and moaning. I am trying to entertain him as much as I can, but e.g. we are going to the playground every day, but around 10-11h, we have to come home because of the sunburn. … And he is still too small to have creative time with me.

So… what am I doing these days? Of course I am stitching my felt things, which will be uploaded to my shop soon. I am making my plans on paper, so I might will upload some templates for you as well, if you want to make exactly the same things. I am working on my swaps (just sent some flowers), and  am going to make a felt tic-tac-toe for someone as a gift. I have made my denim pillows (which were on my project list for this year), I will post some pictures about those soon. I have started my big bag too, where I can hold my felt fabrics, etc…

About wire jewelries, I simply did not touch them at all. I have bought a lot of stuff for them, and some of them are still flying home by post now, so I decided to not start with those until I have finished my work with felt. (Of course I never finish lol!)

I am working on my shop too, I have to redo some texts, upload some information, remake some pictures, and upload the new things. Hard work, and I am really hoping that it’s worth… I hope, you’ll like it. I would like to ask you to answer a question:

You can choose up to 5 answers. Please leave a comment if you have anything to say. 🙂

Aaand… of course I will try to post my pictures soon… .)
